How do I transfer the remainder of the 10-year Limited Warranty into my name after purchasing a used boat? There are two ways to transfer the remainder of a warranty. When purchasing a used boat, ask the previous owner for the Owner's Package. This was a red zippered pouch that included all of the pertinent information regarding the boat and its accessories when leaving the factory. There should be a blue Re-registration card in the Owner's Package. Simply fill out the card, include a photocopy of the Bill of Sale (to show proof of ownership) along with the $50 transferal fee and mail it back to Boston Whaler.

If there isn't a card in the package please download and print the form provided below (requires Adobe Acrobat Reader, which can be downloaded for free from www.adobe.com). You may also re-register your Whaler by visiting www.RegisterYourWhaler.com, completing the form and paying the $50 fee by credit card. Your Boston Whaler Certificate of Ownership will arrive by mail once you successfully complete the form. |
